"Spacetime" Recap & Review

OMG! If things couldn't get any juicer? First things first, WTH did Daisy see in her second vision? Someone in space?! This is getting good.
Anyway...things get stranger as the episode starts out with Charles a homeless man, who, you guessed it, is an Inhuman. When he touches someone or someone touches him, he sends some sort of vibration and people go into a trance as see their future. Most of the future that people see ends up in death. Because of that, he ran away from his family so that he could save them and tried not to touch anyone so that they wouldn't later die. S.H.I.E.L.D finds out about Charles because they listen in on the emergency dispatch calls. A grocery store owner named Edwin Abbott called in and asked for Daisy Johnson by name and said that Hydra was going to kill him. This was the man that touched Charles when he tried to give him money. And of course, when S.H.I.E.L.D arrived, everything that Edwin said was going to happen happened. All this occurred because Hydra wanted Charles. To use his powers to help do their bidding.
Now that "Ward" is at full health, he's taking over Hydra slowly and everyone is falling into line. Except Gideon Malick. He's starting to see what he's trying to do and it's scaring him. He's killing all "normal" people and leaving only the Inhumans alive. What does that say for Gideon? Where will he fit into the overall plan? Or will he? "Ward" takes Gideon and the crew to the company that made the parts in Coulson's hand (that he used to crush and kill the real Ward). With the help of Charles and the new "Ward", Gideon is able to have a taste of the true power that he so much desired. They are able to get a power suit for him that gives him immense strength. He can crush glass in his hands and flip boardroom tables with ease. But can he crush a human like Coulson did? "Ward" wants him to find out and show him true power. And he does! He crushed the skull of the man that owned the company!
Then something even crazier happens...
Andrew walks through the doors of S.H.I.E.L.D with a bunch of guards following behind him! (*gasp!) He tells everyone and May that Lash is taking over his body and feels that the next time he turns into him will be the last time he turns. That Andrew will be gone forever and he wanted to tell May goodbye (*tear*).
So what's next for the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D? Will they gather more troops and more Inhumans? What's next for Gideon? Will he be eventually be killed by "Ward"? What's next for Lash? Will he stay in containment and be killed? Or will they release him? And back to my first question...What the hell does Daisy vision of the future mean? Is it a opening for something that will happen in Civil War? Or is this just something that will be revealed next week (since her last vision happened the next night)?

Character Profile: The Joker
Ever wonder why the Joker was so weird and crazy? The most common reason (as things have changed over at DC Comics over the years) is that he fell into a vat of chemicals which bleaches his skin, colors his hair green and his lips red, and drives him insane. From his new found features, he named himself the Joker, because he looked liked the playing card. His true origin story is really unknown, for writers have come up with so many, but with Joker's unreliable memory, it made it easy.
Nicknames: Clown Prince of Crime, the Jester of Genocide, the Harlequin of Hate, the Ace of Knaves
He is typically seen wearing a purple suit with a long-tailed, padded shoulder jacket, a string tie, gloves, striped pants, and spats on pointed toe shoes.
The joker is obsessed with the Batman. The two of them are some sort of yin and yang, with opposing dark and light forces. Spectacle is more important to the Joker than wealth, if it's not spectacular then it's boring to him.
Characteristics: He lacks empathy, a conscience, and concern over what's right and what's wrong. He's constantly making a new personality for himself every day. He's been depicted as both sexual and asexual.
Skills and Abilities: The Joker has no inherent superhuman abilities. He commits crimes with a variety of weaponized thematic props. The flower on his lapel sprays acid, and his hand often holds a joy buzzer conducting volts of electricity.

"Watchdogs" Recap & Review
After last week's tear jerking ending, I didn't think I would ever be able to recover. Having Bobbi and Hunter leave us the way they did, was very hard for me to swallow, but it was good for the agency I guess. But now we're back at it as the plot continues to thicken. Beginning with Mack and his brother, they see on the news a clip of the Watchdogs making a huge statement by making a building implode with nitramene bombs. Only to find that the leader of this radical group is a previous agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. (*gasp!*)
This whole time I thought Andrew was dead, only to find that May is looking for him (*gasp!*). Now that she has Gemma's help, there's a chance that we'll be able to find him again. I wonder how they will use him if they do find him? Will they kill him like May wants to? Or will Hydra find him before S.H.I.E.L.D can and use him somehow?
During the raid, Mack's brother shows up wanting apologize for the things that he was holding back only to find that his brother had his own secrets. The realization upsets him and he runs away. When Mack follows him back to the house they find that the Watchdogs are there to kill them. After fighting them off, and getting shot in the arm, Mack was able to show his brother exactly what he did and why he fought so hard to do it. What I don't understand, is that when Daisy is talking to one of the Watchdog members, he said that they went after another "freak", her friend (and they were at Mack's parents' home). Did they believe that Mack was an inhuman? Is his brother inhuman and keeping the secret to himself? Or were they just trying to find a excuse to cause a distraction?
As the episode comes to a close, we find that the entire building implosion from the beginning of the episode was all just a distraction so that Malik could remove what looks like a war missile from that building. I wonder what that man is up to now...

Batman v Superman Review (Spoilers!)

I'll start this post off by apologizing to all you Superman fans, cause I'm definitely not one of them! Then, I'll continue by saying if you haven't seen the movie, stop now, cause this has SPOILERS.
So I went today to go see the Batman v Superman movie, I've heard so many mixed reviews, and I'm about to add yet another one. Being a big Batman fan, I was a little disappointed that this movie seemed more geared to Superman fans, than it was to us Batman fans. It was definitely a Superman movie featuring Batman. I think that's why I found myself playing on my phone majority of the movie and even yawned a few times.
Don't get me wrong, the action was great, the plot was cool, it was just...I don't know. Maybe it was the fact that Ben Affleck was Batman or that Superman was the main focus of the story...I'm not sure which it was, but it bothered me.
Especially the end. Being a woman who believes in God, I found it hard to swallow when Superman died. I understand he's some sort of God or deity or alien whatever! But the fact that he was dead for as long as he was, buried and then by the end of the movie you see the dirt rising to tell us that he is going to "rise" again seemed rather eh to me. Like really?! Did you have to make him like JESUS?! Did he have to die and in 3 days rise from the dead?! And this movie was released during Easter weekend. Perfect timing right? HA!
One thing I can say is that I loved Wonder Woman. She was amazing. I could watch her over and over again. She stood tall and strong, was beautiful and kicked butt too! Everything I believe a woman should be. I'm excited to get to know more about her in later movies.
On the other end of spectrum, there's little Ms. Lane. They seemed to find a way to make her visible in what seemed to be every scene. It was a little annoy, but then again, this was a Superman movie. What is Superman without his lovely little lady? (enter sarcasm here)
I love how they are aging Batman, and moving the series along the way they are. There is no need for Batman to be immortalized when he isn't immortal. Loved seeing the little bits of gray in his mane.
The writers felt that they had to recap Bruce Wayne's tragic beginning over as though we haven't heard/read/seen the story over and over again. But all I can say was that it was another view of yet the same story. I guess because it was a Superman movie, they felt they had to explain how Batman became the Batman, I don't know.
I also loved the fact that the writers found a way to make it so that the one thing that connected these two superheroes was their mothers. Martha. I'll admit I wasn't aware that Superman's mother's name was Martha, because as I stated before I am NOT a Superman fan, so I'm a little limited on his background. But I loved how Batman thought that when Superman asked him to save Martha, he thought he was talking about his mother. Of course, Ms. Lane ran in (insert eye roll) and was able to explain that Martha was the name of Superman's mother, and that was who he was talking about.
Lex Luther was...well...weird to say the least. He made me nervous the entire movie. The way he was so unstable and creepy (well played). The way he manipulated everything to make the Superman look bad in the eyes of the world and how he pinned the two superheroes against each other was genius in my eyes. Being the anti-Superman person that I am, I found myself rooting for the other man. Agreeing how Superman didn't see and understand what the consequences of his actions were. But that's just me.
If I could rate this movie...I'd give it *** out of 5 stars.

"Prisoners" Recap & Review
Oh how the tables have turned! Cobblepot has turned good and Gordon is corrupt. Cobblepot has found his long lost father and a new family to love him. Or has he? Seems to me like the wife and kids are wanting nothing more than to kill his father and soon after... him too. But they surprise me by only trying to show his father the man that Cobblepot used to be, only to find that his father already knew and did not care. In jail for the murder of a fellow officer, Gordon is trying to keep his nose clean, but the warden has other plans. He's ordered a hit on Gordon, for what reason I'm not sure. Outside, Harvey is trying his hardest to help clear Gordon of his conviction and find the real killer. Even if that means going to Falcone for help. When movie night comes, Gordon is stabbed to death by an unexpected inmate and placed in a body bag. On the way to ambulance he magically awakes to find Harvey and one of the guards helping him escape. Meanwhile, Cobblepot is dealing with his father's illness and the fact that his father's wife and her children is trying to kill him so that they can have his father's money to themselves. They poisoned the liquor that he was supposed to drink only to find that his father drank it instead and died in a matter of seconds. And now that Gordon is free from the prison he's going back to Gotham to clear his name. Can't wait to see what happens next week...
The more the story goes on, the more twists and turns occur. Every main character seems to be dealing with their own new struggles. Gordon want to clear his name. Cobblepot and his new found family, only to have it ripped from his fingers. Bruce and learning to make it all on his own. Nygma and his becoming evil, plotting his revenge. Thompkins dealing with the death of her child. There's never a dull moment. That's what I love about this show. There's always something new and unexpected waiting for us around the corner.
